The existing website had become cluttered and difficult to navigate, with a disjointed user journey and hidden pages contributing to a high bounce rate. The goal was to create a modern, accessible, and visually appealing website that enhanced user engagement and generated leads. This required reimagining the design while maintaining brand identity, all in collaboration with a project manager, marketing and content strategists, and a design director.

Problem

I took the lead on redesigning the site, introducing a refreshed visual identity with new colors, iconography, and layouts to replace the outdated, heavy design. The updated website featured light, open aesthetics, and subtle animations for a polished user experience. To ensure accessibility, I incorporated high-contrast text. We also conducted a competitive analysis of 11 similar websites, which helped shape our strategy while a restructured information architecture simplified navigation with clear, intuitive labels.

Solution

The redesigned website is simple, engaging, and visually consistent, providing a seamless user experience and effectively communicating the brand’s story. Its design system allows for easy replication and scaling across the site. Stakeholders were highly impressed with the results, praising the website’s ability to showcase Digital Scientists' offerings while achieving their goals of modernity, accessibility, and lead generation.
