Steelcase sought to enhance the online retail experience by allowing customers to easily compare its best-selling chairs. The challenge was to create an intuitive comparison tool that displayed key information—such as pricing, comfort ratings, adjustability, and sustainability—without overwhelming the user. Additionally, there was a need to overhaul the website’s digital branding and create reusable UI components for consistent and adaptable design across the platform.
Problem
I designed a user-friendly feature that allowed customers to seamlessly compare Steelcase chairs side-by-side. This comparison tool highlighted key attributes such as price, comfort, and sustainability in a clear and visually appealing way. Simultaneously, I developed versatile UI components like cards, headers, carousels, and banners, which were implemented throughout the website’s digital branding overhaul. These components ensured a cohesive look and feel while allowing for future scalability and consistency.
