GHSP partnered with us to create a user-friendly interface for the Travel Pod, an exciting autonomous vehicle, all under a tight deadline for CES 2020. The goal was to design a seamless, intuitive, and highly personalized user experience for an autonomous vehicle, ensuring that users felt both in control and comfortable with the technology. This project involved blending cutting-edge technology with a user-friendly design, all while working under time constraints with little room for error.
Overview
To turn GHSP’s vision into reality, the team used a fast-paced approach of brainstorming and iterating. The design combined both physical and digital elements, including a cool rotary multifunction control system. This setup made it easy for users to manage everything from climate settings to entertainment, while still interacting with the autonomous driving features. The interface balanced user autonomy with control, allowing drivers to personalize their experience while the system handled driving functions.
Solution
The live demonstrations of the Travel Pod at CES 2020 were a standout success. Attendees got hands-on experience with the interface, giving us great insights into how autonomous systems can really empower users while taking care of the usual driving tasks. The innovative design boosted GHSP's reputation as a pioneer in the autonomous vehicle space, attracting attention from key industry decision-makers and solidifying its position as a leader in redefining passenger experiences.
